ArmA 3 - Mods

Postkillahpotatoes.de/index.php?at…33d0bbac6a8ebaf25a98c8e6d Kobbvatn I've not had a chance to see for myself but this map looks very "pretty". The comments are very kind and from the video & screenshots the work looks extremely good. Although a smaller map, it could be fun to see a smaller game of Liberation here. It requires CUP Core, CUP CWA & Xin_Ponds.Quote from xindrum: “This is a map mod from our home place in Northern Norway. We wanted a realistic scenery of this beautiful area with sea, hig…

ArmA 3 - Updates
Applejakerie - - Games
PostThe latest SITREP. From BIS, Joris-Jan van 't Land speaks about the latest status of their development. This includes information about their upcoming hotfix that supposedly fixes the latest Zeus issues and other multiplayer related crashes, as well as that they are mid-production of the two future DLC releases, TAC-Ops and Tanks. They also announce their physical map prints, adding Malden to the collection as well as offering a limited time offer here. Which includes all previous physical maps,…

ArmA 3 - Mods

PostA separate "rolling information stream" for ArmA 3 mods, specifically those we all know of when they update as well as the current popular mods. Just now RHS updates so it seems a good time to start, I'll mostly just post changelogs where I can. In this instance, I'm looking forward to the Utilities Construction mod, looks like it'll be a great level of immersion for smaller more defined missions and Arctic Wasteland seems like it's going to be a great map addition, I know many of my friends hav…

ArmA 3 - Updates
Applejakerie - - Games
PostYea, funnily enough I'm one of those people who skips everything because most is uninteresting. Newest SITREP, a few hours later. Quote from Vojtěch Kovařič: “As of now, we're still evaluating all of your feedback and impressions, and we're also investigating whether we need to deploy a small hotfix. ” Yes! I think considering this hotfix will include a CTD fix, they should definitely have released it sooner rather than later! Even if it was just a quick emergency 5MB update to fix those damn is…

PostI would like to start up a rolling information stream of ArmA updates and news. I always forget to browse the sitreps/spotreps/techreps, perhaps this'll help others keep up to date to as well as myself. We can kick things off with the 1.76 update SPOTREP. I'm sure by now we're all aware of the updates content but for those who aren't, 1.76 comes with: - The IDAP faction, a civilian group with the goal of offering mid/post-war development and aid. This is new vehicles, new drones, new clothing, n…

Total War: Warhammer 2
Applejakerie - - Games
PostNew map information, including race locations. It's very strange, not sure how this'll sit alongside the "combined map". The Elven Kingdoms would conflict with The Old World. killahpotatoes.de/index.php?at…33d0bbac6a8ebaf25a98c8e6d

17 Years of Total War
Applejakerie - - Games
PostThe Warhammer series did turn me off also, if fantasy, I would of chosen something else but I also like Warhammer as a standalone so I wasn't too against it either. Played TW:Warhammer for some 75 odd hours and I don't think I'd play again until TW:Warhammer 2 combines the two titles. TW:W2 I'm looking forward to a little more so, it's the better part of the Warhammer fantasy lore.

17 Years of Total War

PostI thought it was pretty impressive, one of the longest running series on PC turns 15 this year and then I thought wait, Total War must be 17 by now! youtube.com/watch?v=njPNdFAOvOI I really do love this series and the genre, from young till old I will play these games, can't wait for their unannounced historical title. Apparently it's going to be of a "smaller era" (so much to my upset, not likely to be WW1 or WW2!). Anyone else ever play these religiously at one point? I used to visit my grandp…

Total War: Warhammer 2
Applejakerie - - Games
PostThis is something I'm really looking forward to, although I didn't bother pre-ordering as I'm not the greatest fan of the Norsca DLC anyway. There's only two things I really want to point out, I am seriously looking forward to a "combined monumental campaign", between both Warhammer and Warhammer 2 titles. I cannot wait to raze armies with the technological advancements of the venomous Skaven. I'm not so happy about Warhammer 2's "endgame scenario" however, it'll be a first for the Total War ser…
